| Germany, November 1944.
In a forester’s house in the woods…
The boy Alfred is grassed by his younger brother Ludwig and thereon beaten by his father. At night, Alfred has troubles to sleep because of the pain, therefore he witnesses two pilots parachute jumping out of a crashing airplane into the forest. Then, the next morning, when a troop of home guards takes the father along to hunt the Americans, Alfred realizes a chance to regain the father’s favour. He wants to find the precious parachutes, before they are confiscated by the police. But Ludwig gets in his way… |
